Abstract
This article considers theoretical aspects of formation of polymer coating on the external surface of a rotating cylinder after its preliminary immersion in a bath with a polymer solution. Analytical dependencies are given that make it possible to determine pressure drop losses during the flow of polymer solution over the external surface of a cylinder, as well as the distribution of rates of polymer solution layers depending on the direction of cylinder rotation.
