Long-chain functionally substituted aromatic Schiff bases derived from cetylamine

Abstract

New long-chain functionally substituted aromatic Schiff bases containing alkoxy and acyloxy groups, as well as carborane fragments, were synthesized by condensation of the corresponding benzaldehydes of the vanillin series with cetylamine.
