Abstract

Proposed were algorithms implementing the method of randomization for the digital measurement of the resonance frequency using the frequency or amplitude modulation of the frequency synthesizer output by a random signal. Formulas were obtained for systematic and random error of these algorithms. Numerical study of the randomization method was carried out using a model of the sensing element of the resonance detection device. The algorithm of one-dimensional frequency randomization was shown to demonstrate the best metrological parameters.
