Abstract

This paper considers the architecture and design specifics for the subsystems of axle synchronization and exact positioning in an open modular numerical control system. The authors present practical results of solving these problems for gear-hobbing machines and a coordinate measuring machine. Finally, the features of motion control are identified and analyzed for working machines with portal axle displacement actuators.
