Benzene rectifying column performance optimization

Abstract

Benzene rectifying column control at the actual petroleum refinery is studied. Certain approaches to increase the performance of precise rectification of benzene and toluene are suggested. An algorithm of evaluating the optimal regulation parameters is developed, rendering assistance to operators of the corresponding industrial installation. Application of the obtained results allows to stabilize the industrial process of rectifying and ensure continuous output of the products having standard quality.
