Abstract

Investigations were carried out concerning the influence of modifying additives on the formulations of carbamide formaldehyde resin of CFR-KhTP grade, used for the development of the noise-absorbing materials. The qualitative interdependence of the speed reduction of the formulations’ thermal curing on the amount of introduced modification agent was found. The preliminary results showed the application potential of the tetramethylthiuram disulfide as the modifying agent of the carbamide formaldehyde resin.
