  • Published:
Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

N-Chlorosulfenylsuccinimide is a suitable reagent for the generation of heterocyclic α-oxo thioketones. The latter readily undergo [4 + 2] cycloaddition with 1,3-dienes to give heterocyclic compounds containing spirocyclic thiine substituents.
