Abstract

For estimation of the state variables that are linearly involved in the equations of nonlinear systems, a technique was developed to design reduced-order asymptotic observers by reducing the functional matrices of the special decidability equation to the form of companion matrix. The necessary differentiability conditions are imposed only on part of the system nonlinearities.
