Abstract

The interaction of poly-1,10-decamethyleneacetamidine with some low-molecular-weight additives was studied. It was shown by nuclear magnetic relaxation and IR spectroscopy that linear dyes of the bishydroxyalkanone type form hydrogen bonds with amidine groups of the polymer, and the strength of these bonds depends on the degree of dissociation of the dye.
