Abstract
Rice grain discoloration is a disease complex caused by many pathogens. The efficacy of trifloxystrobin + tebuconazole 75% WG (Nativo 75% WG), trifloxystrobin 50 WG, tebuconazole 250 EW, tricyclazole 75WP, Tilt (propiconazole 25 EC) were determined against grain discoloration of rice under natural conditions during 2008–2009 crop season. Nativo 75% WG were able to check grain discoloration to moderate extent. The grain discoloration ranged between 13.2% and 18.2% at the test doses of Nativo (200, 150 and 100 g/ha) as compared to 29.4% in untreated control. Management of grain discoloration in tebuconazole treated plants was quite superior and was comparable with propiconazole.
