Samenvatting

Exposurebehandeling van een obsessieve-compulsieve stoornis (OCS) is in ongeveer 55% van de gevallen succesvol. Bijna de helft van de patiënten heeft er dus onvoldoende baat bij. ‘Kennelijk begrijpen we nog niet goed genoeg wat er met deze patiënten aan de hand is’, concludeert de Canadese hoogleraar Klinische psychologie Christine Purdon.
