Notes
Bullous pemphigoid is a rare disease involving an abnormal response to an individual's immune system, which results in a skin reaction (e.g. blisters) that are commonly seen on their abdomen, arms or legs. If not treated, patients may experience body fluid problems (e.g. dehydration, electrolyte imbalance) or skin infections, or possibly even death due to sepsis.
