Viele Adenome im Bereich des Zökums wurden vor Entwicklung differenzierter endoskopischer Resektions- und Interventionstechniken bisher einfach der chirurgischen Resektion zugeführt. Eine aktuelle Studie beschreibt jetzt klare Vorgehensweisen für eine standardisierte endoskopische Resektion von Appendixadenomen mittels Mukosaresektion.
