Aktualisierte Praxisleitlinie Gestationsdiabetes mellitus (GDM)

Bei der Leitlinie Gestationsdiabetes gibt’s Nachbesserungsbedarf

Gestationsdiabetes mellitus (GDM) hat in Deutschland nach absoluten Zahlen in den letzten 15 Jahren um das 5-Fache zugenommen. Von 2015 bis 2017 betrug der Zuwachs mehr als 10 % pro Jahr. Aufgrund neuer Erkenntnisse ist die von DDG* und DGGG** herausgegebene S3-Leitlinie zum GDM in einer überarbeiteten Fassung erschienen. Im Folgenden wird die zugehörige Praxisleitlinie von Dr. med. Helmut Kleinwechter aus Kiel kommentiert.
