Septischer und anaphylaktischer Schock sind seltene Notfälle im Kindesalter. Die rasche klinische Diagnose und Therapieeinleitung sind für den Patienten überlebenswichtig. In der folgenden Übersicht soll auf Besonderheiten der Pathophysiologie und insbesondere auf Klinik und Therapie dieser beiden Formen eingegangen werden.
