Eine prospektive Multicenterstudie aus den USA, frisch publiziert im Journal of Pediatrics, geht der hochinteressanten Frage nach, ob Surfactant via Larynxmaske (LMA) während kontinuierlichem CPAP die Intubationsrate und Notwendigkeit zur invasiven Beatmung bei Frühgeborenen mindern könnte. Spannend, denn noch wissen wir sehr wenig zu diesem Thema.
