Der Einsatz bildgebender Methoden hat in der Kinderrheumatologie in den vergangenen 15 Jahren deutlich zugenommen. Heute kann man mit sensitiven bildgebenden Methoden ergänzend zur physikalischen Untersuchung das Frühstadium einer kindlich rheumatischen Erkrankung erfassen.
