Eine synoviale Gefäßmalformation im Bereich der Kniestrukturen ist etwas sehr Seltenes. Aufgrund unspezifischer klinischer Zeichen wie Schmerzen, Schwellung und Bewegungseinschränkung wird die Diagnose oftmals verzögert gestellt. Im aktuellen Journal of Pediatrics wird zu dieser Thematik eine interessante Beobachtung einer Arbeitsgruppe aus Padua mitgeteilt.
