Reinfektionsprophylaxe senkt Risiko für VUR

Bis dato gab es keine klaren Daten darüber, ob Kinder mit vesikoureteralem Reflux (VUR) von einer antimikrobiellen Prophylaxe profitieren. Eine Studie aus den USA kommt nun zu dem Ergebnis, dass das Risiko für eine Reinfektion zwar vermindert ist, das für eine Narbenbildung dagegen nicht.
