Gute Patientenführung vermindert die Rezidivquote bei Klumpfuß-Therapie

Die Ponseti-Therapie ist als Goldstandard der Klumpfuß-Behandlung anerkannt und hat sich weltweit durchgesetzt. Dabei wird von einer pimären Erfolgsrate in 92–100 % der Fälle berichtet, aber auch von Rezidivraten zwischen 16 und 70 %. Als Hauptgrund für ein Rezidiv wird Non-Compliance angegeben. Diese versuchten die Autoren einer US-amerikanischen Studie nun zu senken.
