Für Betroffene und Behandler ist es gleichermaßen unbefriedigend, dass die üblichen Standardtherapien gegen Endometriose oft nicht nachhaltig wirksam sind. Die traditionelle chinesische Medizin erweitert hier die Therapieoptionen. Wichtig ist, dass die individuelle Patientin mit ihrer jeweiligen Symptomkonfiguration behandelt wird, da auch nach Ansicht der TCM mehrere Pathomechanismen die Endometriose begünstigen können.
