The third paragraph in the left column of page 256 of the article pertaining to the treatment of congenital choline acetyl transferase (ChAT) deficiency states that

“Because apneic attacks occur suddenly in infants and children, the parents should be provided with an inflatable rescue bag and a fitted mask, should be instructed in the intramuscular injection of neostigmine methylsulfate (0.5 mg/kg in infants and children), and are advised and are advised to install an apnea monitor in the home.”

This paragraph should read

“Because apneic attacks occur suddenly in infants and children, the parents should be provided with an inflatable rescue bag and a fitted mask, should be instructed in the intramuscular dose of neostigmine methylsulfate, 0.03 to 0.07 mg/kg given every 2 to 3 h up to a total of 5 mg, and are advised to install an apnea monitor in the home.”
