Volles Haar ist für viele Menschen das Schönheitsideal schlechthin. Es ist daher nicht verwunderlich, dass Betroffene sehr unter ihrem Haarausfall leiden und sie sich deshalb in der dermatologischen Praxis vorstellen. Evidenzbasierte Therapieoptionen sind allerdings begrenzt. Gerade in den vergangenen Jahren wurden aber zahlreiche neue Möglichkeiten untersucht — mit zum Teil sehr guten Ergebnissen.
