Dieuwertje de Groot-Kuin studeerde in 2010 af aan het ACTA. Van 2011-2014 werkte zij als docent aan het Radboud UMC bij de vakgroep Orale Functieleer. In 2017 rondde zij de opleiding tot tandarts-endodontoloog af. Momenteel werkt zij als endodontoloog in de verwijspraktijk voor endodontologie in Nijmegen en in een groepspraktijk in Rosmalen.
