Correction to: Estuaries and Coasts (2018) 41:13–24
In the original article there was an error in the reported quadrat size. Sample quadrats were described as 1/16 m2 when they should have been reported as 1/64 m2 in the text of page 16 and in the figure legend for Figs. 6 and 7. This error does not affect any of the results pertaining to dock shading impacts as all impacts were based on relative rather than absolute measures of marsh aboveground production. However, absolute stem density and biomass estimates for all treatments are reported inaccurately in Table 1 as per 0.5 m2 and instead should be listed as per 0.125 m2. Finally, Spartina control plot stem density and biomass estimates reported per m2 in the Discussion on page 21 should instead be reported in 0.25 m2 units or multiplied by four to reflect appropriately scaled per m2 estimates based on the 1/64 m2 quadrat samples.
