Abstract

This Article is a summary of the presentations made by Paula Cajaty, publisher at Editora Jaguatirica (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and at Editora Gato-Bravo (Lisboa, Portugal), and Director of Communication of LIBRE, at The Second World Publishing Cooperation Conference in Tai’an, China, December 10–12, 2018. In this article, the author highlights the great potentials, great values, and the big obstacles of the editorial publishing market in Brazil. The author also presents some information about LIBRE, a Brazilian Independent Publishers Association, and its events, called Primavera Literária.
