Erratum to: Clin Orthop Relat Res DOI 10.1007/s11999-016-4936-7
The authors of the published study, “The Role of Highly Selective Implant Retention in the Infected Hip Arthroplasty” would like to correct errors found in their paper.
In the Abstract, the authors correctly stated that reinfection occurred at 3, 9, and 10 months. However, in the Results section of the paper, the authors incorrectly noted that reinfection occurred at 3, 6, and 9 months.
In the Methods section, the percentage of patients treated with a partial revision arthroplasty is 6.1% (18 out of 293 patients), not 2.9%.
The median followup was 7.1 years with a minimum followup of 5 years. However, in Table 2, the minimum followup is incorrectly listed as 24 months.
The authors apologize for these errors.
