Surveillance après cancer du sein non métastasé : quelles propositions pour demain ?

Follow-Up after Non-Metastatic Breast Cancer: Which Proposals for the Future?

Résumé

L’importance de la surveillance postthérapeutique des cancers du sein est communément admise. Les problématiques renvoyées par les patientes concernant cette période d’après-cancer (sentiment d’abandon, psychopathologie de la rémission, syndrome de Lazare, etc.) doivent venir questionner la façon dont cette surveillance est ou doit être réalisée et les fonctions qu’elle doit assurer (permanence du lien mais aussi permanence de soi). Le but de cet article est de faire le point sur la littérature disponible concernant la surveillance postthérapeutique des cancers du sein et de présenter une surveillance alternée mise en place à l’institut du sein de l’hôpital privé Drôme-Ardèche et basée sur une classification des patientes selon leur niveau de risque histopronostique de récidive.

Abstract

The importance of follow-up after breast cancer is commonly accepted. Issues referred to by patients during the post-treatment period (feelings of abandonment, remission psychopathology, Lazarus syndrome, etc.) must call into question how this follow-up is or should be performed and the functions it must provide (continuity link but also self permanence). The purpose of this article is to review the available literature on the post-treatment follow-up of breast cancer, and discusses the interest of post-therapeutic alternative follow-up at the Institut du sein of Drôme-Ardèche Private Hospital based on a classification of patients according to their level of histo-prognostic risk of recurrence.
