Next-Gen WDXRF Spectrometer for Advanced Quantitative Analysis

The S8 Tiger Series 2, a next-generation wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer that is said to be the most versatile WDXRF tool available for advanced quantitative elemental analysis has been launched by Bruker Corp. Utilizing HighSense technology, it delivers the optimal sensitivity for all elements from beryllium to americium. New enhanced analyzer crystals, the HighSense counting electronics, and the close coupling beam path, combined with the HighSense X-ray tubes, deliver a maximum intensity for fastest time-to-result, lowest detection limits, and best analytical precision.

With high resolving WDXRF technology and optimal detection of light, medium, and heavy elements based on the new HighSense beam path, the XRF2 mapping tool of the S8 Tiger Series reportedly delivers best sensitivity, smallest spot size, and highest resolution for small spot applications.
