Hip arthroplasty in the management of proximal femoral fractures

Abstract

Proximal femur fractures represent a great clinical and economic burden. Literature shows several surgical choices, mainly subordinate to patient age and fracture pattern. The aim of this article was to evaluate the role of hip arthroplasty in the management of these fractures.
