Abstract
Among the complications that can occur in patients with diabetes, diabetic foot syndrome remains an interdisciplinary challenge. Successful healing requires early and guideline-based “good wound care”. Steady/regular wound cleansing and wound debridement—supported by modern dressings and the application of innovative therapeutic approaches—allow faster healing of even complex diabetic wounds that also avoids amputation.
