Zusammenfassung
Die Luftschadstoffbelastungen sind in Innenstädten und besonders in Großstädten auffällig hoch. Zu häufig werden die gesetzlichen Grenzwerte überschritten, z. B. am Neckartor in Stuttgart, in der Landshuter Allee in München und in der Silbersteinstraße in Berlin. Stand November 2017 plante die EU-Kommission, Deutschland aufgrund der Nicht-Einhaltung der Stickstoffoxid-Grenzwerte in den Städten zu verklagen. In diesem Beitrag sollen die 3 bedeutendsten Luftschadstoffe behandelt werden: Feinstaub, Stickstoffoxid und Ozon.
