Synthesis of tert-Alkylperoxy-substituted Derivatives of 2-Propanol, Dioxolane, and Thiirane

Treatment of tert-alkyl-2-oxiranylmethyl peroxides with compounds containing an active hydrogen, with ketones, chlorosilanes, and potassium thiocyanate furnished a series of functionally-substituted dialkyl peroxides.
