Synthesis of bis-octaethylporphyrin cyclophane derivatives

Using (5-ethynyloctaethylporphyrinato)nickel(II) as starting compound, new cyclophane derivatives possessing two porphyrin fragments were synthesized, and their spectral properties were studied.
