Abstract

γ-Carbolines can act as nucleophiles efficiently replacing the fluorine atom in 3-fluoro-2-trifluoromethylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridines in the presence of KOH. Radioligand binding method was used to study the influence of the synthesized N-modified carbolines on the neuronal NMDA-receptors.
