Abstract
Data on oxidation of alkyl-, phenyl-, benzyl-, oxo-, and terpenyl-substituted and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic sulfides with chlorine dioxide are reviewed. The oxidation is highly chemoselective and moderately stereo- and enantioselective.
