Macromolecular Chemistry and Polymeric Materials

The effect of preparation conditions on the composition and properties of products of Fe(III) reaction with chitosan was studied. The reaction was carried out by partial neutralization of moderately concentrated FeCl3 solutions with chitosan followed by precipitation in an organic precipitant.
