A quantitative determination method for total anthraquinone glycosides in Cassia Syrup was developed using direct spectrophotometry at analytical wavelength 530 nm. A processing scheme for producing Cassia Syrup based on a decoction of Cassia acutifolia Del. leaves was proposed.
