Assay of the new GABA derivative citrocard in biological samples

An ion-pair chromatography method on a reverse-phase C18 column with UV detection was developed for the pharmacokinetic analysis of the medicine Citrocard. This method has sufficient selectivity and allows assay of both the drug and its possible metabolites in biological samples. Sample preparation was optimized and had virtually no effect on the mean error of the chromatographic assay.
