Quantitative determination of free amino acids in pollen

The conditions of extraction of the sum of free amino acids from pollen (pollen pellet) have been studied. A spectrophotometric technique for the quantitative determination of free amino acids in pollen, which is based on the reaction with ninhydrin, is developed. The relative error of analysis using the proposed method does not exceed ± 3.4% at a confidence probability of 0.95.
