Metallographic, x-ray, and magnetic analyses and measurements of hardness are used to determine the temperature range of existence of single-phase metastable α-solid solution (650 – 700°C) in quenched alloy Fe – 30% Cr – 15% Co – 2% Mo – 1% Ti. Annealing of cold-deformed metal in this temperature range provides H c = 58.5 kA/m, B r = 1.04 T, and (BH)max = 18.6 kJ/m3 after a treatment for a highly coercive state.
