System for Double Sorting of Atoms by Quantum State for a Commercial Hydrogen Frequency Standard

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

The basic structural features of a system of double sorting of atoms by quantum states within the limits of given constraints are considered. The system is included in the hydrogen generator of a commercial hydrogen frequency standard. Results of calculations of the trajectories of the atoms in a double sorting system are presented and the selection of a method of creating an inversion region is evaluated.
