Efficient encoding of information for the detection of errors in the information storage and transmission devices of measurement instruments

A method of achieving a required level of functional reliability of the storage and transmission devices used with information obtained from computerized measurement instrumentation systems is proposed through an increase in the detectivity of double errors.
