The problems of estimating the reliability of the results of measurements in heat-supply systems are considered. The equations of the balance of the heating-medium consumption, which reflect the law of conservation of mass, for different types of systems are analyzed. Analytical expressions are derived, the use of which enable conclusions to be drawn regarding the reliability of the results of measurements when solving problems of metering thermal energy.
