An investigation of the limits of applicability of the extrapolation method of measuring the gain of antennas using broadband signals

The results of investigations of the limits of applicability of the extrapolation method of measuring the gain of antennas, which enables standard measuring equipment to be employed, are presented. The initial conditions for employing the method using harmonic and broadband signals are calculated based on a proposed mathematical model.
