Abstract
By processing the results of natural measurements of the circulation of a ship, it is established that the presence of a maximum of the angular acceleration, the position of which corresponds to the stage of the completion of the turning of the rudder, is an identification indicator of the maneuvering period. It is shown that the accuracy of the radar measurement is acceptable for recording the time taken for the rudder turning stage of a sea-going ship to be completed.
