Low-Temperature Dependence of the Shear Viscosity in Superconductor S r 2 R u O 4

Abstract

Low-temperature dependence of the shear viscosity components in superconductor S r 2 R u O 4 is investigated within the framework of the Boltzmann equation. We will show that this dissipative viscosity has a power-law temperature dependence as T 2 for the γ band of the Fermi surface with the isotropic gap. Lupien et al. experimentally found that the shear viscosity components of superconductor S r 2 R u O 4 change as T 1.8 at low temperatures. This relative consistency between the temperature dependence for the isotropic gap and experimental results implies that the gap node of S r 2 R u O 4 may be a horizontal line node.
