Synthesis of BSCCO Films on MgO (100) Substrate by Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Technique
In this study, the HT c Bi-2212 films were fabricated using the ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique (USP). Structural/microstructural, electrical, magnetic, and critical current density, J c , properties of the films fabricated were studied depending on heat treatment conditions in detail. XRD analysis revealed that a pure Bi-2212 phase formed in all the films, which is confirmed by SEM-EDX analysis. T c values of the films were found near 75 K. J c values of the films were calculated using Beans’ equation. Highest J c value was found to be 3.36×105 A cm−2 at 5 K and 0 T for film A. The results obviously showed that the USP method is a very effective technique for fabrication of the HT c films having high J c values as well as its simplicity, low cost, easily coating.
