Possibility of cleaning a channel in a snowy atmosphere by a supersonic off-design jet

It has been found that the threshold value of the product of the excess gas pressure in the forechamber by the area of the nozzle throat is responsible for the appearance of the cleanup effect for a fixed nozzle-photodetector distance. The thermodynamic and dynamic criteria for the occurrence of the cleanup of the laser-beam trajectory have been formulated.
