Abstract

Single crystals of undoped, magnesium nitrate (MgN) and ferric nitrate (FeN) doped triglycine sulfate were grown by conventional technique. Structural properties of the grown crystals were studied by powder XRD. Functional groups were analyzed using FTIR. The optical properties were performed by UV–Vis–NIR studies. Mechanical stability measurements were made by Vickers hardness test. The electrical properties were studied to analyze the electrical nature of the grown crystals using dielectric studies.
